Global challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss, food insecurity, and environmental injustice are deeply connected. Yet too often, solutions remain fragmented, trapped within disciplines or disconnected from the communities they aim to serve.
The Advancing Leadership Program (ALP) is changing that. The ALP is a one-year global fellowship that brings together researchers, community leaders, Indigenous knowledge holders, policymakers, and practitioners to cultivate the skills, tools and mind-set needed co-create solutions that work in the real world.
We train leaders to work across cultures, sectors, and knowledge systems, ensuring solutions are equitable, ethical, and grounded in lived experience.
We compensate Indigenous partners fairly, recognizing their expertise as essential, not optional.
The ALP equips fellows to bridge science, policy, and local knowledge, turning research into action.
Rather than short-term outputs, the ALP builds long-term leadership capacity and global networks that continue to drive systemic change.
